Debt Settlement
Debt settlement, or debt arbitration is a legal process used by people or companies in debt to negotiate a settlement of an existing legal debt with their creditors. Debt settlement is not the same as Consumer Credit Counseling or Debt Consolidation. Debt settlement is an aggressive approach to becoming debt free and is appropriate for debtors with a significant amount of debt who are considering credit counseling or bankruptcy. If you find yourself in a position where you are struggling to keep up with your monthly payments, are unable to meet your monthly obligations, or simply are experiencing a financial hardship such as the loss of a job, a reduction in income, illness, divorce, etc., debt settlement may work for you.
Liberty Debt Relief deals directly with your creditors, explains your hardship, and negotiates a reduced payoff of up to 60% less than what you originally owed. Creditors understand that if you file for bankruptcy they risk never being able to recover any portion of that debt. As an alternative to collecting nothing creditors are usually willing to accept a reduced amount under the proper hardship circumstances. Any person owing credit card debt, or any other debt, has the legal right to contact and negotiate with their creditors, although the practice of successfully negotiating debt takes time to master. For the best results with the least amount of stress contact the professionals at Liberty Debt Relief. Our experienced team of debt negotiators can skillfully negotiate your debt down to pennies on the dollar.
Our team of consumer debt consultants works individually with each client to help determine the program that best meets their needs and goals. Each program is custom tailored to help you lower your monthly payments, deal with your creditors, and eliminate your debts as quickly as possible. The best part is that when you complete the program all of your debts entered into the program will be satisfied and that debt will be gone forever! If being debt free in as little as 12 – 36 months (or faster in some cases) for less than half of what you owe sounds good, give one of our debt consultants a call to discuss your specific situation.
Our Simple Process
Step One: FREE CONSULTATION
Contact us by phone or email for a free no obligation debt consultation. We will evaluate your specific circumstances and determine your eligibility to qualify for our program. You will need to have access to your creditor documentation (most recent statements) so that our debt consultants can assist you in a timely manner.
Step Two: BUILDING YOUR SETTLEMENT PLAN
After determining your eligibility we will work with you to establish a comfortable payment plan. Once an appropriate monthly amount is determined we will establish your debt settlement savings fund. The monthly amount you set aside for your debt settlement savings fund is typically significantly less than your current minimum payments, and goes toward the payoff of the debt (not simply paying credit card interest charges). These funds will be saved every month in a new account that we set up for you, but which you control.
Step Three: HANDLING CREDITOR COMMUNICATIONS
Upon your enrollment we will provide you with specific instructions you can use in order to minimize future creditor communications. You will be provided with a creditor call log which you will use to record any creditor call attempts. This call log will help us to minimize creditor phone communication. You are requested to stop using credit while enrolled in the program.
Step Four: SETTLING YOUR DEBT
After funds have accrued to make reasonable offers, we begin negotiating with your individual creditors. Each time a settlement is reached you are notified verbally or in writing. Upon your acceptance of each offer, funds from your debt settlement savings account will be used to payoff the negotiated debt.
Step Five: CONFIRMATION
Once a settlement is reached and payment is made to eliminate the debt at the reduced amount you will receive a "Good News" confirmation from us. Upon receipt of our confirmation you are now free of that debt forever. Congratulations, you are now Debt-Free!
Always remember that at Liberty Debt Relief we work for you 100%, and not for your creditors. Contact us today to start the path to financial freedom.
